Fox and Friends – Totally Cased

The March Stampin’ Success magazine was delivered last week.  It’s like Christmas when I see it in the mailbox because I know I will find so many inspiring projects in it.  For those not familiar with what I am talking about, Stampin’ Success is the monthly creative helper for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  Just one of the terrific resources available to demos.  Anyway, several cards are featured this month created by demo Renee VanStralen and using the new Fox and Friends set that is available in the Occasions Mini Catalog until April 30th.  I got this set over two months ago and it hadn’t seen ink yet, so when I saw these super creations I just had to make one of her cards…..so here it is!  And it’s a cutie- great for young kids and old kids (like me) alike.  The little sentiment can be changed as appropriate to the occasion.  I will definitely be using this set in my new workshop.

Cold again here in West Tennessee and I’ve heard rumors of more snow!  Hard to believe with March fast approaching but last March 1 we had the prettiest snow- check the photo I posted on that day.  Just beautiful.

Valentine’s Plus

I had a marvelous Valentine’s weekend and hope you did too.  Bob took me to Tupelo to see Casting Crowns- they were AWESOME by the way, and on the way we stopped at Bell’s Drive In in Henderson for the best hamburger in Tennessee.  End result, we were physically and spiritually filled!
So, here are a few more Valentines I made this year, plus a photo of that great burger- yumm, yumm.
Bells Hamburger and Fries
Only Stampin’ Up! products were used in these creations.  Would love to teach you how to make your own special cards- but I warn you, it’s addictive!!!
Blessings,
Diane

Love You Much Sweets and Treats!

Technorati Tags: ,,,,,,

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and don’t you love all the pretty cards and treats that are in the stores right now? Well I do too and have been busy creating hand-made Valentine’s for the people I love- plus some treat boxes to hold sweets for the sweeties. Here is one set that I just finished and almost all of the elements used are from the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

Love You Sweet Treets

Here are the supplies I used:

Stamps: I {Heart} Hearts, Well Scripted from the Occasions Mini

Paper: Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla and Whisper White cardstock; Sending Love Specialty DSP from the Occasions Mini

Ink: Real Red

Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch- Sale-A-Bration free product!; Small and Large Heart Punches; Scallop Circle Punch; Versamark; Red Embossing Powder; Heat Tool; Red Buttons from Playground collection; Cello Bags; Red Satin Ribbon; Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon; Chocolate Chip Sheer Ribbon; Swiss Dots Embossing Folder; Big Shot; Top Note Die; Sticky Strip; SNAIL adhesive;

Looks like a lot of work, doesn’t it? Well, the treat bag took about 10 minutes and the card around 20, including the cutting and punching and a couple of interruptions! Once I decided on the design, it was easy peasy.

Let me know if you want to learn how to create these cuties for your sweeties and remember that I am paying the shipping on all orders of $50 or more this year- a 10% savings and during Sale-A-Bration, you get a free stamp set, punch or pretty paper with each $50 you spend.

I am still enjoying the snow and a little sad to know that it will be going away soon. I hope that you have been cozy and warm these past few days.

Blessings,

Diane
