What a Great Tuesday! CAS70

’ve had such a good day today.  It is my sweet Mother’s 85th Birthday and her Facebook page is full of wonderful, heartfelt wishes from friends all over the world.  She is so special and I love her so much.
I’ve spent the day going through the new Stampin’ Up! catalog for the umpteenth time.  I just can’t wait to share it with you.  My supply will be shipped on June 18th – so get ready for some fantabulous new stamp sets, beautiful new colors and lots of exciting surprises.  I will publish links as soon as we are allowed.
In the meantime, I made this card using Greenhouse Garden for the very first time.  This two-step set is in the current catalog but I didn’t get it until recently.  Wow, I just didn’t know what I was missing.  It is terrific as you can tell by this CAS (Clean and Simple) card.  The Stamp-a-ma-jig makes lining up the images sooooooo easy.  If you don’t have one, order right away.  It helps so much to line up your sentiments or any floating image- wood mounted stamps or clear mount.
I used two of the new core colors- Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight and love, love them.  Especially the Marina Mist.  Today’s favorite.  I love the new core and new in colors so much that I will be changing my favorites daily!
I sure hope you are having a great day and wish you great blessings,

Awash with Life and other Thursday thoughts

Hello everyone!  We are back from visiting with our children in Franklin and we had a wonderful time.  Jennifer is doing well and has escaped morning sickness so far.  We had a girl's day out and went to lunch at PF Chang's...it was SO delicious...and then went shopping.

Our Cards for Kids Ministry Team will meet here on Saturday, so I am spending the day getting the cardstock cut and working on new designs.  We will be making June and July birthday cards for the kiddos in the Learning Center, first time visiting kids and new baby cards.  Good food, fellowship and creativity- can you ask for more?

Here's a quick card I made last Saturday with my great friend Marie.  She is visiting from California and we spent the day playing with stamps, paper and ink.  What fun!  I will sure miss her (and Ron) when they fly back tomorrow.

This stamp set, Awash with Flowers is gonna be a classic.  It is a two-step set with 18 images and will be in the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog that will be available on July 1st.  I can't wait to experiment with flower color combos.

Hope your day is wonderful and that you have a special weekend planned.

LAST CHANCE!!! Stock Up on your favorites! Save some $$!

Hello friends!  It's June!  and I hope you have marvelous plans for the summer.

We are out of town visiting the kids but I just HAD to get this to you so you can take a good look at the Last Chance Lists while they are hot off the press.  These are stamp sets, ink, cardstock, designer paper, accessories that are being "retired" or "reconfigured prior to the Color Renovation and new catalog launch July 1.  It's a great time to stock up on your favorites and get that set you have always wanted before it goes away forever.  Many items are at reduced prices and I'll be stocking up on many regular priced "reconfiguration" items ....I'm just sayin' this may be the time for you to stock up too.

Have a wonderful day!  We are enjoying the kids and my sweet daughter-in-law and I are going shopping this afternoon for " baby" stuff.  I'm so excited- our first grandchild!

Blessings,

Diane
